Mini-Auction Terms and Conditions

Bids can be submitted in two ways:

• Data entered on our 'Bid Form' is e-mailed to the mini-auction agent. Electronic bids are accepted until 6 PM Pacific Standard Time on the last day of the mini-auction.
• Phone bids are only accepted between 9 AM and 6 PM Pacific Standard Time and may be left on the answering machine at 858-679-8516.

Each day, a 'Current Winning Bid' will be posted for your reference until the last day of the mini-auction. You may bid more than once. The 'Current Winning Bid' is the second highest bid plus $1.00. The 'Highest Bid' is not disclosed.

Example:
Bidder 'A' bids $95.00 - Bidder 'B' bids 60.00. The winning bid is $61.00 to Bidder 'A'.

1. Access the mini-auction by clicking on Mini-Auction link on the Home page.
2. As there is only one item per mini-auction, there are no various items to view.
3. Enter your contact information into the Bid Form.
4. Enter the amount you wish to bid.
5. Click "Submit Bid".

Important: Your bid is not finalized until you click the "Submit Bid" button!


6. A 'Thank You' page let's you know the bid was successfully sent and a verification e-mail, with the information you provided, is sent to you for your records.

1. All bids are strictly confidential.
2. High Iron Illustrations will not be responsible for any errors in the execution of bidding.
3. The auctioneer shall regulate the bidding and in the event of any dispute his decision shall be final. Tie bids are awarded to the earliest bidder.
4. All items are offered subject to a minimum opening bid. Bids less than the opening bid will not be accepted. Bids are accepted only in full dollar figures. Example: a bid of $35.82 will be rounded down to $35.00.
5. Successful bidders are expected to make payment in full before the item is delivered. Until paid for in full, all items remain the property of High Iron Illustrations.
6. Payment is strictly cash unless special arrangements are made prior to the sale. Payment is due in U.S. Dollars, via personal check (drawn on a U.S. Bank), U.S. Postal Money Order or electronically through PayPal. If using a personal check, please allow 10 days for the check to clear the bank.
7. Winners will be notified via e-mail of the amount of their purchase. In the event a buyer refuses to pay for an item at the time of sale, the auctioneer reserves the right to re-offer the item immediately to the next highest bidder.
8. All items are sold as genuine.
9. High Iron Illustrations has a no-questions-asked return policy. Even if the item is pictured and accurately described, you can return it within 48 hours and a complete refund will be made within 48 hours after receipt of the return. The item must be returned undamaged and packaged as originally shipped.
10. High Iron Illustrations reserves the right to withdraw any item, at any time and for any reason.
11. Items can NOT be sent for inspection.
12. Mailing and packing charges will be added to the purchase price. The mode of shipment shall be at our option unless we are given specific instructions. Actual postage or shipping charges are additional to the final hammer price.
13. Sales tax will be added where applicable.
14. No buyer's premium is added to bids.
15. Placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of the foregoing conditions of sale.
