| When our youngest daughter, Melissa, was diagnosed with cancer, family, co-workers, and our church “family” came alongside to help us during this difficult “storm” in our life. Our friends at Green Valley Church provided us with daily meals, made many visits to the hospital, cleaned our home, helped us move, fixed our cars, and did the little things that allowed us to focus on her care and the needs of our other children. They also prayed with us and for us, wept and mourned with us, and continue to be our church family to this day. Galatians 6:2 says we are to “carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”. How true that was with our families and friends. |
