| Captain Roscoe Brown was a member of the 100th Fighter Squadron, 322nd Fighter Group; also know as the Tuskegee Airmen. He shot down two German aircraft, including an ME-262 on March 24, 1945 during an escort mission to Berlin. He flew a P-51C (specifications), number 7, named “Bunnie”, which he named after his daughter. After the war, he received his PhD in Education from New York University and served as a Professor at N.Y.U. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air medal with 8 oak leaf clusters, and three Presidential Unit Citations. |
