A-4 Skyhawk Studies |
Designed by Mr. Ed Heinemann of Douglas Aircraft, the A4 Skyhawk (specifications), was also nicknamed “Heinemann’s Hotrod”. It was produced in the 1950s, with the A4M version used by the United States Marine Corps delivered in 1971. This light-attack aircraft was so small, it did not have to fold its wings on the deck of an aircraft carrier. It was easy to fly, and was used a great deal in the Vietnam War. |
