Profiles and Pilots

 
The main purpose of “Profiles and Pilots” is to give you, the viewer, access to the process by which John R. Doughty, Jr. artwork is created. Studies are small, original paintings or sketches about a subject that may be incorporated into a future painting project. In some cases, you will observe from beginning to end, the step-by-step process in which the original study was produced.
