"Destiny's Child" Nose Art

B-17 nose artist, Mr. Jack Gaffney, 401st Bomb Squadron, remarqed print number 550 of 'Full House – Aces High'. Mr. Gaffney painted the nose art on nine B-17s (and this jacket). The nose art of Destiny’s Child was based on the popular Little Uncle Rafe character. Besides painting the nose art on Destiny’s Child, he was also the crew chief of the plane.
